The storage shed is only approximately 120 square metres, as we intended to use the shed for Outreach Program truck storage and for small assembly projects.

The original shed is 7.5 metres by 16 metres with walls four metres high, a roof five metres high, roller doors, all clad in Woodland Grey horizontal corrugated iron on a concrete slab.

In 2023, the facility was connected to the electricity grid, allowing the installation of some machinery. A car hoist has been installed and has proven to be very popular amongst the members.

In 2024, with growing competition for workspace, the management committee was pursuing the feasibility of a small extension to the building.

2025 has seen the existing building being granted 9b Classification under the National Construction Code, as a formal workshop. All compliance requirements have been met.

Several design options have been presented for the extension. A decision on the best option for the extension is currently in the hands of the Mornington Peninsula Shire officers.
