The Community Bank Southern Peninsula has been a great partner for the PNMSA.
We have enjoyed some interesting projects together.

The Men’s Sheds: A Place of Gathering
The CBSP truly appreciates the work our local Men’s Sheds do for the community.
Originally established as a place for men to meet and engage in woodworking and metalworking projects, these gatherings have evolved into much more.
The members engage with local schools and collaborate closely with the schools and the Mornington Peninsula Shire to identify a variety of projects.
This work includes building bird boxes, microbat boxes, planter boxes and even billy karts - all through recycling and repurposing materials. All work is done at a minimal cost to the recipients.
More importantly, they take their projects into the schools to teach children new skills.
The latest involvement has been to support the development of the Umbrella Dementia Cafes program for families living with dementia.

Our "Mobile Workshop"
We had the vision of providing support to our local community through a “mobile workshop”. We would take the tools we need to sites within our community. With the help of the Bendigo Bank, we were able to purchase our van.
You will often see this vehicle out on the local streets.

2024 "Comedy by the Bay"
We looked to support the creation of an Umbrella Dementia Cafe in Sorrento and to support “Uniforms4U”.
The Bank provided a donation that enabled us to cover costs and deliver a great show.

2025 "Comedy by the Bay"
We were looking to repeat the success of 2024 with another comedy night raising funds to further develop the Umbrella Dementia Cafes across the Peninsula.
With the help of the Bank, we had another wonderful evening and a nice donation to hand to the Umbrella Dementia Cafes management.
